Home for the artists Gentic, EnCounter, Asombria and Laisvall, Godagatt records was born in a suburban basement out of love for electronic music and DIY. The name Godagatt references loosely to the swedish word for electrical socket, kontakt, in that sense that’s how it was pronounced by an excited toddler more than 50 years ago. Yes, the fascination for "Godagatts" are still there, especially when they are connected to classic synthesisers and modular synthesiser systems. What can we say? Electricity makes us hum.. And dance.
